The Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva, in collaboration with several sponsors, established the Excellence Masters Fellowship to promote academic excellence and global collaboration.
The faculty offers Master’s programs that prepare students for careers in research, industry, teaching, communication, and public administration.
Most programs are taught entirely in English or in both English and French, making them accessible to international candidates.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2026 University of Geneva Excellence Masters Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold or expect to obtain a Bachelor’s degree within six months of applying.
- Belong to the top 10% of their undergraduate class.
- Demonstrate excellent academic records and research motivation.
- Apply for admission to a Master of Science program at the University of Geneva.
- Note that French proficiency is not required.
Scholarship Benefits
- Annual grant of CHF 10,000–15,000.
