Applications are open for the 2026 Arizona State University Mastercard Foundation Innovation and Technology Scholarships. The program will train 120 young African professionals at the master’s level from 2025 to 2030, with a strong focus on technology and innovation.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, 30 fully funded scholarships are available. Each covers tuition fees, accommodation, books, medical expenses, and more. This is a 2-year on-campus master’s program in Phoenix, Arizona, designed to prepare African youth for leadership roles in the global digital economy.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Qualify academically for admission, including English proficiency.
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Be aged 18–33 on or before the deadline.
- Show leadership, service, and community engagement.
- Demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
- Hold an undergraduate degree by August 2026.
- Not have started or completed another graduate degree before August 2026.
- Be able to live in Phoenix for the program duration.

Applicants must first apply for the scholarship. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Final decisions will be made by February 2026, and successful candidates will start in August 2026.
