She Code Africa is a growing tech community with over 10,000 active members across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Cameroon, Rwanda, and more. The organization focuses on creating opportunities that promote technical growth, mentorship, and visibility for women in technology.
Through the Laptop Scholarship Program, She Code Africa continues to advance its mission to build a continent where women are equally represented and empowered in all areas of tech.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2025 She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a female applicant residing in Africa.
- Follow She Code Africa on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
- Be an active member of the She Code Africa community (join via shecodeafrica.org/community).
- Not already own a working laptop.
- Have already started a journey in tech (learning coding, design, data analysis, etc.).
- Be available to receive the laptop in person in Lagos.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
